Events include: 2nd Friday Downtown Coeur d'Alene Art Walk, Carousel Grand Opening at Memorial Field, ElkFest in Spokane, 2017 Coeur d'Alene Artist Studio Tour Artist Reception at Emerge, 2017 Coeur d'Alene Artist Studio Tour, Allen and Mary Dee Dodge Opening Reception at The Art Spirit Gallery, Building Your Career as an Artist Workshop at Spark Central in Kendall Yards, Thursday Night Live Music at The Gilded Unicorn, CARS! Art Exhibit at Blackwell Gallery in Downtown Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai County Farmers Market in Hayden, Sandpoint Farmers Market at Farmin Park and Bonners Ferry CROP Hunger Walk at Bonners Ferry High School.

Tomorrow is the grand opening for the Playland Pier Carousel in conjunction with the First Annual Family Day in the Park and Fancy Flea Market. This is a free, family friendly event, and the community is invited to enjoy a multitude of events throughout City Park, Memorial Plaza, Memorial Field and Skateboard Park. Read more

The second Friday of each month, April through December, stroll through beautiful Downtown Coeur d’Alene and experience the vibrant arts and locally and nationally acclaimed artists in participating galleries. Just look for the official yellow Art Walk balloons! This is a free family friendly. Read more

Elkfest is unlike many area music festivals with its grassroots approach, very little outside sponsorship and a reputation for being Spokane’s best summer neighborhood party on the streets of historic Browne’s Addition neighborhood and is free to enjoy from the street; $2 cover for beer garden and restaurant. The Coeur d’Alene Arts and Cultural Alliance presents the 5th Annual Artists Studio Tour. Visit 25 local artists in 12 studios in the greater Coeur d’Alene area and witness the creative process in action. An Artist Reception will be held 5 to 8pm Friday, June 9, at Emerge Studio. Meet the artists and preview their work. Read more
